Golf Holidays in Javea
I like to play a good standard golf course in the UK (admittedly better than my 12 handicap!)
Conveniently located by car to several very good and nearby golf courses. If you want to stay on a golf course in a hotel complex type environment or if all you really want from your time away is golf and only golf then this might not be for you, there are other areas in Spain with 20 or 30 courses on literally on your door step.
If you want to play a few nice courses and stay in an exceptionally tranquil setting, with superb facilities and views and only 5 to 10 minutes drive (quick taxi ride – there are ample that are very reliable and cheap in Javea) from an abundance of great restaurants and bars and other activities, this could be a very special place for you.

Club de Golf Javea – Javea (10 minues drive).
Very pretty 9 hole course with twins tees, so you can happily play 18 holes (the mountain in the background is the Montgo where the villa is located
Benidorm or other close courses?
We also play courses in either Alicante or Valencia dependant upon which airport we fly to and from (we play on way home dependant upon flight times). Both have a huge choice. My personal favourites are:

La Galiana Campo de Golf
Designed by Seve Ballesteros includes 8 lakes and is set in a beautiful location on the Costa Azahar. Tucked a little out of the way but well worth the drive before flying home of before driving to the villa for your stay – as out in the country but not hugely out of the way if traveling to the villa or airport their rates for a course of this standard are amazing).
